Pouakani apartment is situated in Rangatira Park, a quite beautiful residential area in Taupo. The apartment has stunning views of Mount Tauhara and the Waikato river. In summer you’ll see lots of tourists and locals enjoying the river whether they float down the river or use kayaks. The apartment is surrounded by beautiful gardens and has a relaxing atmosphere.
It is an easy walk to go to the river and if you are keen for a swim you can float about 500 m and get out to walk back to the apartment. The area is great for a nice evening walk along the river or an easy walk to town, restaurants and the harbor.
